POST OFFICE NOTICE

CHINESE NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS

On Saturday, the 6th February, the General Post Office and Brancis Post Offees will be entirely closed, and on Monday, the 8th February, the General Post Office and the Branch Post Offices will be open from 8 am. to 9 n.m.

On Saturday there will be no collection from the pillar boxes and no delivery by postmen but ordinary correspondence may be tained at the back entrance of the General Post Office.

On Monday there will ha one collection from the pillar boxes and one delivery of ordinary correspondence as on Sundays and one delivery of re- gistered correspondence at 9 a.m.

The Money Onler Office will be entirely closed during the Holidays. Tho despatch of mails via Siberia has been discontinued until further notico. Mails will be despatched generally via Suez but if a quicker route should from time to time offor it will be utilized.

As from 2nd February no parcels for Shanghal and North China can be accepted until further natice. "

Letters and postcards for Europe and South America are forwardes "Via Siberla" if no auderscribed.

It is, notified for the information of holders of Private Boxes at the General Pont Oflee that on and after 1st February no taxed correspondence will be placed In the Boxes.
