AN ULTIMATUM has been delivered to Mr. Wu Tieh-chen, the Shiosawa, the Mayor of Greater Shanghai, by Admiral Commander-in-Chief of the First Fleet of the Imperial Japanese Navy in Chinese Waters, demanding an immediate and satisfactory reply to the protest lodged with the Chinese authorities by the Japanese Consul-General in Shanghai.
