For carrying out structural alterations and additions to 26. Hing Lung Street without a pormit from the Building Authority, the representative of the owners of the premises and. tho contractor in charge of the work were each fined $100 by Mr. Schofiel at the Central Police Court this morning.

Mr. J. B. Bottomley, of the Public Works Department, inform- ed his Worship that

that the premises

were being demolished and the work of reconstruction had been carried out without plans being submitted.
