Hailed as the crowning achlovament of American shipbuildlog engineering, the new $8,000,000 turbo- electric propelled express liner, the President Coolidge, the latest addition La the Dollar Line feet, arrived in Hongkong. yesterday afternoon from the builders yards at Newport News, Virginia, under the command of Captain K. A. Ahlin, a veteran of the Dollar Line servico.

Sponsored by Mrs. Calvin Coolidge, wife of the former President, this palatial Uner was launched at the yards of the Newport News Ship. building and Drydock Gompany, on February 21, of this year. Water from the "old swimming hole" on the Coolidge farm in Vermont was used to christen the vessel.
