SERGT. WILLIAMSON COMMENDED.

Sergeant W. W. Williamson Wax highly commended for his gallant conduct during the recent · Pot. tinger Street fire by the Coroner (Mr. Schofield) and the jury Inquiring yesterday into the eir- cumstances of the fatal blaze.

The subject chosen for the in- quest was Chan Lin-fal, a seven- year-old boy, one of the seven per- Bons who lost their lives in the fire at No. 12 Pottinger Street.
