Common Allments of Childhood. Croup and Convulsions.

There are fow ailments more distressing to soo than these, and when attacks occur, parents often do not know what to do until the doctor comes. Croup is caused by the formation of a false membrane in the throat and unlese this cun be got rid of there is danger, In sovero canes, of suffocation. As a first aid measure, the child should be made to vomit, by the ad- ministration of Ipecacuhana wino or other emetic. Then Baby's Own Tablets should be given to aliny the feverishness, settle the stomach, clennan the bowels, and act as a gentle rosterative.

Similar treatment will also rellovo convulsions. As a general rule convulsions are due to in- digestion, especially to the ac- cumulation of gas in the bowels, and. are likely to occur during teething.

Wiso parents howover avoid these troubles by the use of Baby's Own Tablets in occasional preven- tva doses. This splendid, plon- santasting and absolutely harm-; less children's mediclue kaups the internal organs active and healthy, alds the digestion, keep the bowels moving and the stomach sweet and clean, thereby preventing the internal congestion and derange- ment which are the cause of there childhood troubles. No home where there are babies and young children should be without Baby'a Own Tablets.
