The recent raid at the locni headquarters of the Kuomintang had a sequel before Mr. Williams at the Central Police Court yes. terday when one of the members was fined for being in possession of seditious iterature nt 16. Bon- ham Road. Another member was discharged by the Court.

Inspector John Murphy appear ed for the prosecution, and Mr. F. C. E. Rendall was for the de- fendants.

Before calling evidence Inspec- tor Murphy described the raid which was made on October 1 on the headquarters of the Kuomin- tang, which, he said, was unlaw-to ful but tolerated in Hongkong. Two pamphlets were found in a auitcase belonging to the first de- fendant while a third was found on a desk, Black arm bands were also found on the premise.
