OFFICIAL SUMMARY_BY STOCK EXCHANGE

The market opened steady this morning with prices maintained.

Banks were in demand at $2,040, Cantons were again in request at yesterday's rate-$1,546.

Unions wore also wanted at $505. H.K. Fires were in demand at $1,485. Waterboats, after being done at $284, closed In demand at $28%.

Wharven continue in demand at $164,

Docks are will! wanted at $20. Providents (old), which were done at $6%, could have been obtained at 36.60. The new shares were in do- inand nt $3.10.

Hotel (old) were on offer at #17%. The new sharen were also obtainable, nt $17, and at the close there were buyers at $10.65.

Lands were in demand at $00%. Humphreys fold) were wanted at

Realtion were reported to have changed hands at $17.48,
