A very successful 1930 season was reported at the annual meeting of the Hongkong Boxing Association, held in Messrs. Jardine, Matheson's board room yesterday, when Mr. R. M. Dyer presided, supported by Mr. G. S. Hugh Jones, Hon. Secretary.

profit of $1,489,11 n against 8407.89 for the previous year and a loss of $984.39 for the year ending 30th June 1929. It is regrettabla however that the General Account shows a loss of $34.95. It is usually hoped that the subscriptions of mem- hers will cover general expenses but the membership has fallen off and a number of subscriptions are in arrear. The secretary has been instructed to issue a circular asking for new mem- bern and to endeavour to collect all arrears. It is hoped that all mem hers will themselves try to Interest others in the Asunelation and gut new members.

During the season under review, four mast successful tournaments were held and the Theatre Royal was generally filed to capacity.
