Mr. J. A. Mollison, the Australian airman, beat Mr. C. W. A. Scott's record for's flight from Australia to England, when he landed at Croydon in his Gipsy Moth aeroplane. The whole journey was made in 8 days 20 hours. 2 days 3 hours lose than the time taken by Mr. Scott. He had to contend with bad weather over the Channel and was obliged to make a forced landing at Pevensey. Our picture shows him after landing on the bouch (Tintes empyright).
