Of course you must be must particular in the base you select, the major color to which you will add so much of this color and so much of that until you have that failed tonic, a costume that is so exactly right that it fairly goes to the head of everyone viewing you,

The best color combinations in costume are and those that knock you out quickly, the blatant color schemes. Rather, the most seductive, the most potent combina tions are those that seent restramed but altogether blend in a way to be perfectly satisfying without being a shock, Black the base for most chic Frenchwomen's ward- robes. T. FIRST of all, consider your coat. It should be

Worn with a draped turban of alate blue felt, caught right at the front with a touch of plum velvet, it makes as smart an outfit at you'll need for mest daytime occasions,

This one is a gay yellow indeed, and very Russian in the way its collar rolls up the neck to bigh lins and then turns down, and it buttons up the left side with cute little buttons. III.
