If any evidence were needed of the verratility and high quality of Jocal musical talent, Saturday evening at King's College amply provided it. The occasion was a concert given in ald of the St. John Ambulance Brigade, the very worthy effort contributing towards the provision of a grently- needed new ambulance.

That the concert, despite the adverse weather which, na was inevitable, had its effect upon the attendance, was a brilliant auc- cess, needs no emphasis, and only those who were present can appre- clate the loss of the less fortunate who were absent.
