THE ANNUAL AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Two weeks ago the China Fleet Novices Competition was brought to a kuccesful conclusion, after four very interesting sessions. For Novices the standard of boxing was very high and some excellent bouts were witnessed.

Next Saturday, the Fleet Amateur Championships will reach their final stage. The semi-anals of the Light, Middle and Light Heavica and the finals of all waighte will be fought o, at the Theatro Royal, making a programme of twelve bouts.

There Is 1 very good antry, especially in the Lights, Welters and Middies, and if the boxing is anything

It is hoped in the near future to arrange an Army voraus Navy team match, which will be a great attrac tion.
