The programme for the Luter- Police Force contests during the coming week has been tentatively arranged and provides for a foot- ball match, golf, billiarda and rifle and revolver shooting contests. On the social side, the visitors will be the guests of the local Force at a dance to-morrow evening and a dinner on Monday while they will also attend the St.

The smoking concert which was to have been held at the Police Club this evening has, therefore, been van- celled. On the arrival of the team to-morrow, they will be met by local police officers and after being given an opportunity to put be in some practice. they will the guests at a dance to be given at Lane, Crawford's Restaurant at 8.30 pm.

On Thursday, the main fixture of the visit, the Inter-Police Force football match, will be played on Club the Hongkang Football ground at Happy Valley, the game being timed to commence at 4.15 p.m. Admission will be $1.10 (in- cluding tax).

The programme for Friday is n golf match at Happy Valley dur ing the day and a billards match in the evening, starting at 8.30 p.in. Nothing has yet been arrang- ed for Saturday, but on Sunday the visiting players will meet the South China Athletic Association in a football match al Caroline Hill at p.m.

The rifle and revolver shooting contests will be fired on Monday' on the Taikos Rifte Range, and at 8pm. the Interport dinner will be held at the Police Recreation Club at Happy Valley. The Shanghai Police officers will at- tend the St. Patrick's Ball at the Peninsula Hotel on Tuesday next ut 9 m. and on Wednesday, March 18. they are due to depart. The above programme is sub- jeet to alteration after the arrival of the Shanghai team.
