A Yard specialising in Motor require, less muchinery and equipment than an ordinary shipyard. thus eliminating heavy and expensive plants for the building of boilers and other storm auxiliaries. What is essential in á Motor Shipbuilding Varil is a well-upsipped Repair Shop for Diesel Engines and Motors for load and al up-to-date facilities for docking ships.

We have purchased from the Hongkong Government a most suitable space known as Kowloon Marine Lot No. 10 at To Kwa Wan, Kowloon Bay, with a total area of -224,000 sq. ft. with all buildings, etc. This area until recently was ccupied for more than 25 years by the Kwong Tack Cheong Shipyard Lul, which has built more than 120 ships.

The property has been purchased at a very reasonable price of $205,000. It was surveyed in 1920 and valued by Mesars. Denison, Ram & Gils, at $33,000 and resurveyed and revalued by Messrs. Palmer & Turner in July, 1930 at $145,100. This, of course, is he value of the land when used for vedisary purposes, but na a Mirine Lot already reclaimed nad cunuzlidated at considerable expense. its value should be fixed at a nitch higher price.

9. The buildings have been repaired, two new steel workshopa have been erected and machinery, tools, etc, which have been purchagel-have-arrived from Europe. The shipyard will soon be again fully equipped and in working ordo, 4 building berths for ships up to 300 feet length are at our lis posal, and it is proposed to build 4 most up-to-date slipways for ships up to 100 feet in length. 10. The shipyard and repairing works are under the management of nu experienced Motor-shipbuilding.

It is the intention of the Directors of the Hot Fonk Shipping Co., Ltd. to place an order for two Inger mutorships upon, the satisfactory completion of the first two vogels.
