The defendant had no authority to wash the bottles on his way. The washing was done by the fokis in the dairy when the battles were returned.

Wong Chi-lam the foreman of the Dairy, said he had given the Idefendant no authority to change the milk in the bottles, nor did they use any other bottles than those marked with the name of their Dairy on them.
