· HOLIDAY CRICKET.-.

TWO CENTURIES SCORED -

YESTERDAY.

A musterly Innings of 170 not out by N. Mackay, for the Kow- loon Cricket Club second string, against the Hongkong C.C., was the feature of the holiday cricket yesterday. So mercilessly did he log the bowling, that he made a hundred of his runs in boundary hits.

K. H. Batger was also in excel- lent form with the bat, and in scoring 106, helped the longkong Arst eleven to total 984 against the K.C.C. seniors.

The two-day holiday fixture be tween the Kowloon Cricket Club and the lungkung C.C., seniors on the former's enclosure, which started yes- terday, was featured by the consistent batting of the visitors, who ran up the useful total of 284. Afterwards their bowlers captured three cheap wickets, and placed the team in a strong position.

K. H. Batger was the hero of the Club innings, scoring 106 before losing his wicket. He balted in splendid style to make these runs. The remainder of the team contri buted helpful quotas, and completely "spoilt the bowling ligures of the home attack. Lyal captured three wickets for 4 runs and J. R. Reynolds three for 42, but these were the only suc

Baiting for a short time before stumps were drawn, the K. C. C. lost three wickets for 88 runs. E. C. Fincher is still undefeated with 21 runs, and E., reached the same score when he was caught by Owen Hughes.

A brilliant incings by N. Muckay. and the collapse of the Hongkong Cricket Club against the keen attack
