One vessel was completed, one launched, and eight more were still ander construction in local shipyards, during the quarter ending September 30, according to figures supplied by Lloyd's.

The vessel completed by Kowloon Dock in the Sta. Teresita, which left Hongkong for Rollo at 9 a.m. on Monday. She is a steel screw motor vessel of 142 tons nett and was built to the order of Jaime C. Tiampo, Hello, FL. She will probably be used for constal service in the Philippines. "Kurimarau" is the name of the Vessel launched in this yard. She is also a steel screw motor vessel and is destined for Australia. She has teen built to the order of the Lever's Facific Plantations Ltd., Sydney. The Kurimarau has a Toss tonnage of approximately 350 tons,

Christiensen, of the Intter versel is intended for carrying Shuntien, is our reserve, oil in bulk.
The China Navigation Company has one vessel under construction at Taikoo, this being the Wusueh, a sister ship of the Wuhu, which was completed a few months ago and is already is servies ap north,
This yard is also constructing a lighter, for the Standard Oil Com pany of New York. This lighter, which named the Maine, is a steel
