This Or- dinance does not go so far as that, but permits the sale of tickets on the course to people who attend race meetings, thus giving atten- ders of race meetings a privilege which otherwise would be fined to the membership of the club organising the sweepstake. But, generally speaking, the sale of tickets is to be discouraged.. Senor del Toro laughed lightly when he read this. "Of course, I don't want to quarrel with my friends at the Legation," he said, "but this is not right. I put 'the measure on the statue book-my- self, and I have been thanked for my services by leading legal men all over the world."
There was one thing, however, which he could not explain-the position of a client wishing to "remarry" after having obtained one of his postal divorces at a cost of £700.
