INTEREST IN SALES BY INDIA.
Nanking, Sept. 3. The Finance Minister stated to- day that China is continuing in- formal discussions with Britain regarding silver sales by India. and is cabling further instruc- tions to the Chinese Minister In London on the subject.
The Chinese Minister recently pointed out to the British Gov- ernment that China's purchasing power had been reduced and her: commerce disrupted by the silver depreciation, with detriment to the trade and industry of coup- tries trading with China.
