ESCAPED CONVICTS CLASH WITH POLICE.

Adelaide, July 18.

A fierce street battle between convicts and the police occurred here to-day,

The convicts, in an accomplice's motor-car, sped through the city, firing revolvers, and were pur- sued in another car by the police, who were armed with rifles.
