C.B.C. OUTCLASSED AT WATER-POLO.
Last night's first division water- polo league game between the C.B.C. and Somersets was another of those one-sided contests that have marked both divisions this season. The ser vice men knew too much for the Chinese, and kept up a continuous successful barrage on their goal, At half time the board showed Ave-one in their favour, while the final tally was.-Somersets 9 goals; C.B.C. nil. The teams were:
C.B.C.-Leung Shui-man, Lau Yam- chung, Wan Kwang-ting, Chu Chuf- chuk, Yeo Wing-kwong, Wong Kam- cha, Lai Lee-hang-
Somersets-Naylor, Russell, Mea- dows, Mackenzie, Fox, Howard, Early,
There were one or two pretty picces of work by the Somersets which mada the game different to the usuni dull one-sided matches. Most of these flashes were between Howard and Early, and they were generally capped with the latter whizzing the ball in. Seven of the Somersets nine goals came from Early, and in five of them he received the ball direct from Howard.
Howard himself notted one goal, while the other was more or Jess pushed through by a crowd fighting in the goal mouth.
Somersets' Seconds Beaten. Wretched goal throwing marred an otherwise interesting second division game between the Somersets and Fukien Club. The Chinese scored one goal in each half, while the Service men did not once get past the goalie. The men who took the water wore:
Somersets Skinner, Bollen, Hill, Parkew, Lilly, Sproutin, Seymour.
Fukien. K. T. Kwok, Y. L Long. I. T. Sung, K. Wong, M. S. Luk, G. Lai, T. W. Wong.
On both sides the shooting for goal was wild and inaccurate. Time after time the Chinese broke away and with no-one to beat but the goalie, their forwards failed. It is no exaggera tion to
to say that both their goals were more or less accidental. The first was a comedy: Lai threw a weak one which the gealle stopped, but be mis- judged his throw-out and the bail landed in front of Lai again He had another try—and exactly the same happened again. His third shot could hardly have failed, for the goalie was more or less under the water. Fulden's second goal went up when the Somersets' goalie stopped a hot one but accidentally pulled the ball in. Final scores.. were. Fukien 2 goals; Somersets nil.

Few could imagine a more delicate, refreshing perfume than that contained in Peerless, Erasmic. Nothing is more delicious than the subtle fragrance of a wild flower, and it is the sweet scent of wild, hedgerow violets that gives Peerless Erasmie its distinctive charm.
Erasmic lathers

rich, creamy lather cleanses and invigorates the skin, drives out the dirt, and leaves it with the soft, velvety bloom of youth.
To soothing herbs, employed in making Peerless Erasmic, may be traced this rejuvenating quality of its Lather -its peculiar healing properties.
