Hongkong on A daring armed robbery oc-awarelength of 356 metres:- curred in Kowloon in broad day- light yesterday morning. when the occupant, a Chinese, Wan Yan, of No. 338, on the first floor of a building in Nathan Road, was held up by two men, tied to his bed and gagged, while the rob- bers' ransacked the apartment and decamped with money and jewel- lery to the value of $110.

Wan Yan had an interesting story to tell to the police. About 10.40 yesterday morning, while hoj was sleeping on his bed in the building, he heard a knock at the door, and a voice saying, "Wan, open the door please.". He open- ed the door, and a man, who, was

stranger to him, entered, and,! pointing a dagger at his breast, said, "Do not make a noise."
