After her death nearly £300 was found in War. Stock in the house. Mrs. Elizabeth Wood, of Herbert-street, Plaistow, a cousin, said that even three years ago Miss Thomas was worried because neighbours said that she was living with her brother as his wife.
A letter to Mrs. Wood stated: "I cannot face any more scandal, but I know you will tell the truth about it." Miss Thomas closed a will leaving all
