The funeral of the late Mr. K. K. Lee, of the Canton Gazette, who passed away after a short illness at the French Hospital, took place yesterday afternoon. The burial service at the Chinese Protestant Cemetery was performed by the Rev. Mr. Kwan. Kan-yew of the Wesleyan Church.

In consequence of a report made by the conductor witness asked four British soldiers who were in the first class to show their tickets. They abused him, and continued to torment two Chinese ladies who were on the bus. Wittiess. was asked by the ladies to stop the soldiers from annoying them.

Addressing the soldiers, witness told them "Don't be rough." and McKean stood up but witness told him to sit down again. McKean then kicked the inspector.
