ROYAL MILITARY TOURNAMENT.

OLYMPIA DISPLAY STARTS ON THURSDAY.

The Royal Military Tournament, in which the Navy, Army and Air Force combine annually to give a display at Olympia and which is one of the pleasantest and most picturesque events of the London season, will be opened by the King and Queen next Thursday.

This year there will be 51 officers, and 1,600 other ranks together with 300 horses and a number of guns, tanks and other vehicles used in the performance. In the historical pageant uniforms of the Seventeenth Century will be provided by the 2nd Battalion, Royal Fusiliers.
