You can't change your gure all at ancu to conform to the HOW silhouette. It has to be done gra- dually and intelligently. The ear. Bet-makers will come into their own again, because every womati
will have to have new corsets right away corsets that mould the figure from the waist to below the hips.
They Look Fragile.
To feat their deceptive supple- nesa, and softness, and to see their silken daintness, you would never suspect them of having enough strength to serve their very useful purpose. But they have! | Indeed they are very like modern woman herself, in this respect!
There are models made of broche silk, having elastic at the sides and sometimes elastic tops, which fit snugly around the waist without compressing it. The backs are ного or less boned, according to the fulness of the figure. Sonia models are inatened down the front hat many hook or button invisibly at the site. This is probably the better idea, as the corset is then quite unobtrusive under the must closely fitting frock.
For figures that need more sup port there is a new version of our old stand-by, the curselet. This is designed to follow the lines of the figure, especially at the waist, t is not designed to squeeze the superfluous flesh around the bust and hip-line into an unwanted roll fint around the waist, as hero- toforé.
