NEW SCHEME TO AID BRITISH TRADE.

great scheme which will A assist British manufacturers to despatch their goods in bulk by air, rail and motor to any part of Europe will shortly come into operation, following a series of conferences between Imperial Air- ways and the "Rig Four" railway companies.

Up to now there has been no arrangement for direct air and rail despatch of goods, except the Post Office mail, which is limited

to 11lb. in weight.

The now scheme is intended to link up British services with the railways for freight up to the loading capacity of the carrying aeroplanes.***
