Bower was not at fault lator on, when Tamar put in some pressure, and several hard shots, which were wall cleared. More play of the end- to-and variety, with Haroll for the Barvice Corps, playing well in de- fence, and missed chances in front of each goal, conduded the first half without any addition to the score.
Tamar did the pressing for the first minutes after the interval, but were eventually pulled up for off-side, and the Service Corps got away on the right wing, but Watson sent wide from
good position. Two corners, and clearances, against the Service

-S. Chinn "A" 7, S. China "B" 2. The end of the football season was very noticeable in these games. The game at Caroline Hill between South China "A" and "B" teams was more or less a farce. "B" team could field six players only, while "A" fielded nine. On the Kadway ground the home team managed to field nine players twenty minutes after the official time for kicking off.
