Magistrate and Police. His Worship observed that he did not quite know what the object of the prosecution was, but he must say he did not quite like the line of action taken by the police, as he did not believe that because

people had been in- timidated before, it was desirable for these galleries to be closed

down.

The lone exhibit. in Court, which was the only one the police found fit to seize, was automatical- ly confiscated.

It was indicated that the effect of the decision would be that the galleries would have to close down. If they did not do so, the police would proceed in another warrants for way with seizure of the pop-guns now that they had been legally declared as being illegal without permits.
