RIFLE SHOOTING.

PRACTICE FOR THE INTERPORT.

We learn that practice for the Far East Interport Ride' Match was com- menced on Saturday last and was continued on Sunday, under the aus- pices of the Hongkong Rifle League.

The Weather on both days was rather unkind; low visibility and rain causing rather low scores. However, some of the scores were promising and it is considered that with more fold practice Hongkong will be able to

a team that will cause Shanghai and Singapore to think, especially if laat year's SCOTCB can be considered standard.

The next practices will be on Satur day and Sunday next at Taikoo Range commencing at 2.30 p.m. each day, and it is hoped that shooting men not attached to any of the local clubs will come forward and show that! there is local material hitherto un- touched.
