that the Ordinary Yearly Meeting of Shareholders of The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited, will be held at the Registered Office of the Company (Exchange Building, Des Voeux Road Central, Hongkong), on Saturday, the 5th day of April, 1930, at 11.30 8.m., for the purpose of receiving Statement of Accounts and the Report of the Board of Directors for the year ended on the 31× December, 1929, and reelecting a Director and the Auditors.

The Transfer Books of the Company will be closed from Friday, the 28th March, 1939, until Saturday, the 5th April, 1930, both days Inclusive.

The boat was owned by Gunner Coe, who took three of his friends along with him for a cruise around the harbour. Meeting with a par- ticularly strong gust of wind, the boat capsized in the central fairway Shanghai and Europe via Siberia.. President Grant near the Star Ferry wharf.

Gunner Coe and his friends were rescued none the worse for their experience.
