The new story is a mystery in which a group of army officers are menaced in London, and each falls under suspicion in a weird plot. Lionel Barrymore directed the play with a notable cast that includes Roland Young, famous stage star, Ernest Torrence, Dorothy Sebastian, Claude Flem- ing, Natalie Moorhead, Richard Tucker, Richard Travers. John Loder, John Rocha, John Miljan, Lionel Belmore, Phillip Strange, Gerald Barry and others of note.

The drama is laid entirely in London and strange sound effects and ghostly illusion add to the thrilling details of the mysterious play.

MATINEE PERFORMANCE A BIG SUCCESS,

The matinee performance "And So To Bed" by the Hongkong A.D.C. attracted quite a good- sized attendance at the Theatre Royal last evening, and all present thoroughly enjoyed the production. The audience included quite n' number of students, who were ad- mitted at half-price, and they, like the adults, found much cause for amusement in the lighter aspects of the play. All the characters were well taken, the principals showing up particularly well.

There are only three more per- formances, to-night, to-morrow and Saturday; and we commend the production as beir one not to be missed. There are still a few sents available. but these should b booked early at Anderson's.

Residents wishing to see over the 9.8. Resolute may do so be- tween the hours of 2 p.m. and six p.m. this afternoon, tickets to be obtained from the Agents, Messrs. Jebsen and Co., of Pedder Build- ing.
