Future Possibilities. Another paragraph in the report caught my eye and I expect many others will also notice it-that is the one referring to the furnished room in Kowloon.. Surely this is a beginning in the right direction and must develop into something far niore pretentious, than "a furnish- ed room in Kowloon to which mar- ried couples or women and children can be sent in urgent cases." Here is a scheme, with vast possibilities and I think many of us. hope to hear much more about it în next year's Report.
In conclusion, I desire to appeal to all, who take an interest in their fellowmen, much is being done but how very much more lies before us, and could be done, if only we had the funds at our disposal. I have great pleasure in proposing the adoption of the report and the accounts.
The meeting closed with thanks to all those who had assisted in the work during the year, including the "Cheero" Y.M.C.A. for kindly lending a room.for the meeting, Mr. W. L. Pattenden, the officers and Committee.
Mrs. Southorn also wished Mrs. Hunt, the retiring Vice-President, bon voyage and a happy Home leave, and thanked her for the in- terest she had always displayed in the Society,
Mr. S. Hampden Ross was thank- ed for again auditing the accounts.
