Fog-lifting Device.
A novel method of dispelling fog has been discovered in London, according to the claim of an in- ventor who has utilised hot air.
An attachment to the exhaust projects hot air in front of enre, and the rising current of air lifts the fog about 10 feet, allowing the driver to see under it.
The fog lifter can be fitted in a few minutes, and is said to be simpler than the average wind- screen wiper.
The device has never been tried in opposition to a regular pea- souper," so that its inventor's claim still remains to be justified.
