Fashion Notes.
(From a Paris Correspondent).
AL a recent wedding at the Madeleine the bride was much ad- mired. A tall, fair girl, she was a living copy of a mediaeval picture, with her tight silver bodice above a full skirt of silver tulle, scattered with silver lilies, her littlo head- dreas of pearls and silver flowers, and her long, silver enveloping veil. The dress was of silver tissue, minde ankle length, and very pinin, the sleeves were long, and the decol letage a tiny square.
The stiff way in which she walked, bending slightly backward, com- pleted the illusion.

Some of the greatest successes in millinery with smart women are the "eloche" shape with a narrow brim, sometimes in front only, and the brimless toque made of n great variety of materials. The

"Sweet Seventeen" will dance demure dances this season--and she will wear quaintly attractive frocks like the one sketched here. De- veloped in rose-pink chiffon, the skirt all billowing with flounces and the bodice quite slim and fitting, it is trimmed with bunches of shaded pink roses having realistic-looking green stalks.

Here is one of the beautiful brocades which lend them- selves so effectively to the draped evening gown with its long graceful lines. Moulded to the figure in the most ap- proved style, the material flows out from hips to ankles and finishes with an uneven homline, Shoulder straps, cut in one with the corsage, are very narrow, and the long V at the back is in keeping with the general outline of the gown.
