KAKO MARU DUE' TO-MORROW.
VESSEL NOT SERIOUS-4 DAMAGED.
According to the latest cable from Capt. Nakamura, of the Kado Muru, which struck a rock at Tung Foong yesterday afternoon, the vessel is not seriously damaged and is proceeding to Hongkong under her own steam. Sho is ex- pected to arrive in port to-morrow morning.
The mishap occurred at 446 p.m. yesterday in Lat. 24.52 N.
and Long, 119.28 E., about 70 miles from Amoy and about 350 miles from Hongkong. The vessel man- aged to extricate herself and put into Amoy, arriving there this morning.
It is believed that some of her cargo has been damaged but the local offices of the N.Y.K. assured a Telegraph representative this morning that the damage, done could only be slight
