RESCUED SURVIVORS.

There was an echo of the Lee Cheung disaster this morning, whto Chung Wah-tim, the master of a fishing junk, was presented with a chéque of $25 as a memento of the good work he rendered immediately after this vessel sank last Decem ber on a voyago from Swabue to Hongkong.

It will be recalled that the se Lee Cheung went down, with over 200 persons and only two members of the crew were rescued.

A fishing junk, of which Chung Wah-tam was master, picked up one of them near Waglan and the other some hours later.

After searching in vain for some time for other probablo survivars, Chung Wah-tim returned to Hong kong, bringing back with him the

two rescued seamen,
