University v. Army.

Howlers completely outclassed the batamen when the University and the Army met at Pokfulam, twenty wickets falling for an aggregate of

151 runs.

The peculiar feature of the game was that beth aides collapsed after promising starts. The first three University batsmen scored 51, but the remaining seven wickets fell for on additional' 34. The Army were more than half way towards victory, with but five wickets lost, but the remainder of the team failed against the bowling of Samy and Guterres, and could only compile another eleven runs between then..

The Recreio fared a little better. Thanks to L. J. Guterres (16) and P. J. Remedios (18) they exceeded the visitors' score by a dezen runs. Chan Fook claimed the bowling; honours with 6. for 21 runs.

Civil Service C.C. v. RA.S.C. The Civil Service second team- defeated the R.A.S.G. by the narrow margin of two wickets at Sookampoo, in this match also being acoring low.

A cordial vote of thanks was given to Mrs. Strafford for so kindly dis- tributing the prizos,
