No. S. 54.-It is hereby notified that sealed tenders in tri- plicate, which should be clearly marked "Tender for Quarry," will be received at the Colonial Secretary's Office until Noon of Monday, the 24th day of February, 1930, for the occupation for a period ending 31st December, 1931, from the date of notification of acceptance of tender, of any or either of the pieces or parcela of ground referred to in the schedule hereunder, shown coloured red on plan signed by the Director of Public Works and dated 24th January, 1980, but subject to certain conditions which can bo ascertained at the office of the Director of Public Works.

Each tender must be accompanied by a receipt to the effect a sum of that Tenderer has deposited in the Colonial Treasury $100 in respect of any quarry as a pledge of the bona fides of his offer, which sum shall be forfeited to the, Crown, if the Tender re fuses to carry out his tender and comply with the conditions, should the tender be accepted.
