PREMIER'S POSITION.
"TIMES" CONSIDERS IT VERY STRONG.
London, Feb. 6. The Times in a leading article to day emphaalacs the strength of the Prime Minister's political position.
It says, "Though he is technical- ly the head of a minority govern ment, no Prime Minister was over for the time being in a more in- pregnable position. If for any reason of his own he were to go to the country to-morrow, he would unquestionably be returned to office, Meanwhile, all parties are deeply concerned for the success of the Naval Conference, and none of them has shown the alightest da position to be critical or impatient, still less to transfer its conduct to other hands."British Wireless.
