Because he was a strict Moham- medan, an Indian constable was stated, before Mr. Whyte Smith, at the Kowloon Magistracy this morn ing, to object to touching pigs, and the. prosecution ridiculed the idea of the defence that the constable had extracted some matting from crates of pigs which were being carried by some women.
