NEW FORESTS RISING LINDBEGH FLIES OVER

TIMBER FROM NEARLY TWO MILLION ACRES.

An afforestation scheme that will involve the expenditure of £9,000, 000 and the planting with timber of over a million and three-quarlor neres of land has been announced by the Forestry Commission.

Whom the Forestry Commission was established ten years ago, 600,000 was allowed for the first de cule. During that period, which ended this year, 156 forest white-87 in England and Wales and in Scotland-have' been established.
