Collision Near Beacon.
Mr. Rendall stated that plain- ti was the owner of public mulor car No. 257, an Oldsmobila - seater, which car he was driving along Des Voeux Road Central in a westerly direction together with two passengers. When approach- ing the beacon he sounded hin Thorn and proceeded. Without any warning, defendant's car came out of Pedder Street, the right front wheel striking plaintiff's left front wheel. "Damnge was cuused to the front axle, left wheel, wing and handlamps of plaintiff's car.
Plaintiff gave evidence in sup- port of Mr. Rendall's remarks, in the course of which he said he was travelling at about twelve miles an hour, and defendant's speed was about thirty miles an hour. Plaintiff anid that defen dant was alone in his car.
