A murderous attack upon Henry Garvin, the head of the Bomb Squad of the Detroit Police, apparently made with the object of preventing his appearance as a witness against Martin Cohn, the proprietor of the Study Club, has caused a sensation
in Detroit.
Cohn, the cabaret proprietor, is now facing trial on a charge of manslaughter in connexion with a fire which broke out at the Study Club some two or three months ago, causing-a-serious loss of life.
