The weekly return of the Mertical Officer of Health made up to Satur. of day last gives thirty-six enses small-pox, of which 18 proved fatal. Thirty-one cases occurred on the island, three in Kowloon, one the New Territaties and one, was imparted.

There were 30 deaths from tuberculosis, 10 from malaria and one from influenze.
