OLD CHINESE WIDOW
DISAPPEARS.
A case of kidnapping and robbery in which an old Chinese widuw residing at Saigon Village, New Territories, was victimised, occurred yesterday morning abortly after one o'clock.
It appears that four robbers armed with knives brake into an unnumbered farm-house, the solo occupant being an old woman of about 60. She put up a stubborn resistance, but was overpowered. Some farmers in the neighbour. hood heard the cries of the widow, but dared not investigate. In the morning they found that: the house was open and all the furniture and belongings in great disorder.
