Lust evening's presentation. of prizes to childron of the Peak School by Lady Clementi was one of the most delightful of local pre-; Christmas functions, and Wag attended by a large number of parents and friends of scholars.

The presentation was held in the Peak Club, and prior to the pre- sentation the guests were enter- tained by a series of delightful Ittle charades.

The programme opened with the song, "The Frog and the Crow' by Class D, and was followed by items in the following order-Pretty Stories", and Funny Pictures, by Kindergarten Class, aided Class 6; Four Songs, Class 9:1

Mian Newsholme read the an- nual report, which stated that the school opened on January 7th with 69 pupils and closed on December 20th with 58. The average, atten- dance 57.14. Throughout the year the health of the children hasi on the whole béen good.
