BRILLIANT FUNCTION AT THE PENINSULA HOTEL

No. 51/29 Hongkong Volunteer With Wing Commander A. H; S. Defence Corps orders, by Lieut-Stoole-Perkins as principal host, Colonel L. G. Bird, D.S.O., O.BE. the Royal Air Force, including Commandant

both Kal Tak base and the fleet air arm, gave a ball at the Peninsula Hotel last night which was ·in every way a brilliant function.

The large and distinguished H.E.. the gathering included G.O.C., Major General Sandilands, Commodord R.A.S. HII, and their Staffs, as well as the Commanding Oficera of the K.O.S.B. and Somer- set, Light Infantry and other off- cers of these battalions, and, of all units in the garrison.

Hongkong, Dec. 19... Camp Pay-All ranks of all unita except No. 6 Platoon will parade at Corps Headquar ters at 5.30 p.m. on Monday 23rd Dec. for issue of Camp pay. No. a Platcon will parade as directed by O/C Scottish Coy, Cheques and pay lists have been issued to Os C Units who are responsible that all ranks] sign the pay lista.

Tactical Exercise.

A field aring tactical exercise will be held at Fanling on Sunday 19th Jan. (not on 18th Jan, as previously the following discussed) in which units will take part. M. G. Troop, A. C. Coy., M. G. Coy., Scottish Coy: Attendance to count as 2 parades or as 1 day in Camp.

Canals.

Table T. Machine Gun Part I. All casuals in the above course will fire at Stonecutters on Sunday 22nd Dec. 1920. Range Officers 2nd Lieut. A. Button Potts and 2nd Lieut. J. F. Wright. Dress-Musketry order. uniform or mufti. Launch will leave Murray Pier at 9 am, and Kowloon Police Pler at 0.10 nm.

All casuals in the above course will Arm at Stonecutters on Sunday 5th Jan. 1930. Ilange Officer Captain R. R. Davies. Dress-Musketry order, uniform or mufli. Launch will leave Murray Pier at 9 a.m. and Kowloon Palire Pier at 9.10 a.m.
