There was little to enthuse over during the game. Just before half- time, Hassell sent in a wing shot and Roover headed into his own goal

Some rather weak shooting in front of goal prevented the Corps from add. ing to their score, although they kept the Somersets in their own half for some time. End-to-end play was tho order for the remainder of the first half.

After the interval, the Corps got going in good style, intent on further score, and some neat forward-work after Lyons had passed to Fry, gave the Corbesley a chance, and he banged ball into the net. The whistle had
